Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are actually open and will close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a home with a combined gross residence income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined household cash flow doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and want not submit any proof of earnings.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the correct Identity Doc numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are researching or plan to study at a public 2025 nsfas application university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not 2025 nsfas application to wait until the last day.
