The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed in regards to the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The services stage created for intervention SRD experiences a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all clients and increase use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
